As mentioned on the main Arranging page, I am building scale books for instruments using methods that I believe will help students gain more versatile technique over the full range of their instrument. At this posting date (August 24, 2018), the bass clef book for bassoon has all the major keys done with minors to come once all major keys for all books are complete. The others are being written simultaneously with ones for clarinet and saxophone so your patience is appreciated.

3-octave
This book will assume a range from B-flat below bass clef up to B-flat four ledger lines above the bass clef staff. |
Bassoon - bass clef
This book will assume a range from the lowest B-flat up to the D five ledger lines about the bass clef staff.
|
Bassoon - changing clefs
This assumes the same B-flat to D range of its previous bass clef counterpart but will have varied clefs |
Contrabassoon
This beast does not very commonly play above G above the bass clef staff, so this book stays in that range as well. Feel free to use the 3-octave version of the full range to D though. |
